Tensive, a spin-off of Fondazione Filarete, is a biomedical company focused on developing innovative prostheses to provide for a natural breast reconstruction or augmentation. Its product is in laboratory testing phase and is not yet tested on humans. Tensive鈥檚 technology aims to stimulate the regeneration of natural fat. Its prostheses, not yet tested on humans, are based on synthetic and biodegradable biomaterials which are designed to be gradually degraded and replaced by the patient鈥檚 fat tissue once the regeneration is complete.
